I had recently been to my village along with my family. It was a one day trip...and yes! it was REALLY tiring. We spent 3 hours in the village and 12 hours were spent on travelling (I wasn't cribbing when I said that it was a really tiring trip).
But, I must say that those 3 hours that we spent exploring the village were really amazing! (refreshing)...I wish we could have reached a day before and spent the whole weekend there...well, maybe next time..
The first thing I did was to check if the swing was intact...n yes it was! =D

The Neighbours =)
While I was randomly clicking pictures. He called me and told me "I want picture, me and my house...my whole house!"
Other things
Cute little notorious neighbours - Mantan, Mahesh, Jayesh and Akash...(I don't remember who is who but just remember their names) |
I asked them what were they doing with these sticks. They told me that they were taking care of the cows and then I could hear giggles...hmm...I wonder what they were really up to..
Image on the left: She was a little shy when I was clicking her picture...she told me not now, I am applying Mishir (powered tobacco). I won't look nice in the picture. After a little bit of convincing she somehow managed to smile a little.

During any religious festivals (Jatras) devotees pierce hooks on their back or skin and hoist themselves on this pole. One of the ways to seek for forgiveness and blessings from God.
